Purpose and boundaries
Meeting types with several lengths, video, phone, in-person or link locations, round robin and collective hosts, buffers, notice, booking windows, daily limits, group seats, questions and approval. Hosts keep weekly hours and days off in their own time zone, link a busy calendar (Google or Outlook iCal) and subscribe to a private bookings feed. Invitees book in their own time zone, get calendar invites, reminders and a page to reschedule or cancel. Every video booking, host and instant meeting gets a branded room: waiting room, screen share, chat, raised hands, reactions, live captions kept as a transcript, whiteboard, polls, recording and host controls, with signalling in a Durable Object. AI sets up meeting types, drafts agendas and writes minutes with action items and the follow-up email. embed.js, an API and signed webhooks put booking on any website. Each domain has its booking pages and rooms at meet.<domain>.
