Purpose and boundaries
Cloudflare Email Routing hands each message for a connected domain to the Worker's email() handler, which keeps it (D1 for the message, R2 for the original source, HTML body and attachments) and can forward a copy to Gmail. Cloudflare Email Sending sends from any address on an onboarded domain. The Domains page adds domains and sets up their mail servers. The public inventory lists connected domains only.
